In today's interconnected world, various global challenges like the ongoing pandemic, geopolitical tensions, conflicts between nations, cybersecurity threats, and dependence on external suppliers are affecting each other. This uncertainty creates risks that can jeopardize the survival and sustainability of the company, especially in strategic areas like defense. In that situation, logistics risk management is essential for ensuring the operational sustainability of companies in the defense industry. Therefore, this research focuses on PT Pindad (StateOwned Enterprise) and aims to identify and address the logistics risks faced in its supply chain. Through a qualitative research method with a case study design, key risks were identified, particularly in the procurement process, including delivery delays, product availability, raw material scarcity, dependency on imports material, inventory buildup, and financial risks. The impacts of these risks include operational disruptions, potential financial losses, and damage to the company's reputation. The risk management process at PT Pindad involves stages of identification, assessment, mitigation, implementation, and monitoring by the risk management division and risk owners. Several challenges were identified, especially related to reporting and specialized resources. Recommendations are provided to build an integrated information system, conduct strategic planning, coordinate, and collaborate with relevant parties, seek alternative sources of raw materials, strengthen the bargaining power of Indonesia's defense industry, and implement a technology-based risk management system. By implementing these recommendations, it is expected that PT Pindad can reduce vulnerabilities in its supply chain, ensure operational continuity, and optimally support national defense.
